Welcome to my little slice of the internet. Glad you’re here.
If we aren’t acquainted, let me acquaint you real quick. I was born and raised here in southeast Texas so, “yes sir”, “yes ma’am”, and “y’all” are just a part of my vocabulary. I’m a wife to one, a mother to three and in-between all that, I’m a photographer to many. I thoroughly enjoy rainy days, a clean workspace, and counting down the days until Christmas. I have a handful of comfort TV shows and they are wildly different in nature i.e. Roseanne to Forensic Files to COPS to The Waltons. (Goodnight John-Boy.) I enjoy iced coffee, but not cold coffee. I tend to collect second-hand treasures and my home is a treasure trove of vintage finds. I forget trash day more than I’d like to admit, I’m painfully sentimental and I get really annoyed when someone eats my leftovers. I’ve been through enough trauma to last a few lifetimes, but it’s softened my heart and taught me to embrace each day for what it is. The love and loss that I’ve experienced act as my compass to my art and has shaped me into the person and artist that I am today. I’ve come to realize that loving those around us is one of the greatest things we can do, and I strive to embody that every day. Most importantly, I couldn’t do any of this without my savior, Jesus Christ. I am forever living in awe of what was done for me (and you!) on that cross. I aim to be a light in this world while giving all glory to the One who saved me.
